Over the course of 3 weeks, (starting August 19) I will have been in 6 countries. And today I checked off one of those countries, Greece. After landing in Izmir, Turkey (another country) at midnight this morning, we hopped on a boat at 9:00 am to the Greek island, Chios. Chios is just a twenty minute boat ride from Turkey, so we spent the whole day there before coming back in the evening. After arriving in Chios, we obviously had to get some food, and while we enjoyed breakfast we got to enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfront. Then, after eating, we explored a little and headed to a beach. The picturesque beach was perfect for swimming, napping, and reading. I loved my time on this island, but there is so much more to do in Chios that we didn’t not get to today. I guess I have to back!
