Traveling can always get you into sticky situations.
Today we experienced that first hand. We woke up at the ungodly hour of 5:40 because we had a 6:50 train to Venice. Of course, as you can probably guess, things did not run so smoothly and definitely not according to plan. We arrived at Termini (the train station) at 6:15 because it is good to have some time before a train. And when traveling with me, you always arrive EXTRA early.
We looked on the electronic information board for what platform to go to but it didn’t say. So then we waited, but at 6:30, 20 minutes before our train, the board still didn’t list our platform.
Then, our train got delayed 30 minutes which is very upsetting because I COULD HAVE BEEN SLEEPING!!! Apparently, there was an earthquake near Bologna (I can’t tell you where that is because I don’t know Italian geography so go look at a map). Now, all trains going near bologna were delayed 120 minutes because they needed to inspect the trains path it make sure it was safe. So, we sat on a bench freezing our butts off for 2 hours!!!
