The Jerusalem Aquarium

Today we went to the Jerusalem Aquarium which is fairly new. I learned some cool facts and saw lots of sea creatures while being in air conditioning.

I learned a little about Dugongs, a marine animal similar to a sea cow. Yes, that is what they are called. They would be a great cuddly stuffed animal. Dugongs are actually mentioned in the Tanach, but in Hebrew.

We also saw a sign that talked about Kashrut. Only in Israel would the aquarium talk about Kashrut.
