On Wednesday, we went to Tel Aviv to meet up with our mom’s friends and to see ‘the world’s biggest sukkah’.

After taking the train to Tel Aviv, we took a bus to meet our mom’s friend, Adina for lunch. We ate at one of the few restaurants that have a sukkah. In Jerusalem there are sukkot everywhere, but in Tel Aviv the sukkot are sparse.

After lunch we rented bikes and rode to the port where we would meet another friend for dinner and see ‘the world’s biggest sukkah’. ‘The world’s biggest sukkah’ was the world’s biggest disappointment! It did not look like a sukkah from the inside or outside and it wasn’t even that big.

When we finished dinner our mom’s friend dropped us off at a movie theater so we could see a friends 25th anniversary movie. My friend from school had told me about this friends production and said that it would be showing exclusive never seen before material. To our disappointment, there was no new scenes, instead the movie theater just showed several episodes. Of course I enjoyed the episodes because they were friends, so it wasn’t a total waste.

Over the course of Wednesday, we were on 4 buses, 2 trains, 2 car rides, 1 bicycle ride, 1 light rail, and of course we had done plenty of walking. Being in Israel has really made me good at taking public transportation especially since I always choose buses over walking.

Pictures of ‘the world’s biggest sukkah’. It had a stage on one side for concerts.

At the movie theater, they had a replica of the couch in Central Perk so obviously we took a picture.
