The reason we came to Turkey was for the wedding of Rozi and Adam, and it was a spectacular wedding. (If you are wondering why the wedding was in Turkey, its because the bride is from Turkey.)
This wedding was very special from the special Turkish Jewish customs, to the amount of love in the air, to the gorgeous landscape.
The wedding took place on a beach, so it was gorgeous scenery. Besides from the natural beauty of the sunset and the ocean, there were lights strung up from the trees.
A special Turkish Jewish wedding custom is the Kezada Ceremony. This ceremony involves marzipan that is broken over the heads of the bride and groom. The women who break the Kezada are wishing for the couple to be blessed with things like health and happiness.
I really loved how much people danced. Everyone was just so excited to celebrate Adam and Rozi since they are such special, thoughtful, and caring people.
P.S. Sorry we haven’t been uploading photos, trust me we want to, but we have been having some technical difficulties.
