Last week, we went to a meat restaurant near our apartment. This restaurant is special because they serve lots of סלטים. For those of you who don’t know what סלטים are, they are little salads or dips. Some examples are hummus, baba ghounush, and coleslaw. סלטים are good because there is usually something for everyone.
We ordered 3 types of meat: pullet chicken skewers, chicken heart skewers (super gross sounding and, in my opinion, gross taste as well), and chicken wing skewers.
Since we have been in Israel, I have discovered that I really like pullet chicken. Every restaurant I have eaten this type of chicken at makes it pretty similar. Pullet chicken is juicy and tender and extremely delicious.
Overall, I would rate the restaurant 4 stars out of 5 stars.
If you ever have a HUGE appetite, come eat at עזרא. You need a big appetite because everybody needs to buy a main course in order for the סלטים to be free. If you don’t buy a main course you have to pay for the סלטים. Its a good deal if you like to eat A LOT of food.

P.S. Both the סלטים and the meat would taste good with garlic.
