On Tuesday, June 9th, we went to Ramla where we did a very random activity. We went boating in a 1300 year old water cistern. It was really cool and if you are ever near or in Ramla I would recommend coming for a 20 minute pit stop. The boating does get old quickly but it was enjoyable.
After boating around we went briefly to the Ramla Shuk to get a snack. The Shuk was very mixed between Arabs and Jews which reflects the city’s history as an Arab town before Jews came to the city after the State of Israel was established.
