Over the past few days, we have seen a lot of interesting costumes (Purim is only one day- the one day is different in Jerusalem verses everywhere else in the world- but people have many pre-Purim activities where they dress up).
The most common costume that I saw was hippies. It is actually a fairly easy costume and I saw atleast 50 hippies.
My favorite costume was a little kid dressed up as the police and the dad dressed up as a robber. It was really cute because the little kid was chasing his dad and the kid was so much smaller.
Some other costumes that I liked were Ferraro Roche, queen bee, flappers, time flies (a clock and wings), angel and devil, and a soccer ball (the stomach of a pregnant women).
Also, of course, I saw someone dressed up as corona.
Alexandra thought that someone should have dressed up as third elections. ;)
Purim is always a fun time, and seeing everyone’s costumes is a big part of that.
