Today at our school it was parents teaching day.
Two moms (moms of girls in my class) taught my class something about their jobs.
One mom taught about leadership. She taught how being the leader is important, but being the first follower is more important and is also a form of leadership. It is very important for the leader to treat the first few followers as equals, and then more people will follow.
The other mom taught about biology, mostly about livers. She has worked at Hadassah Ein Kerem for over 15 years. I learned that your liver can regenerate just like how snake’s skin regenerates. When your liver regenerates, it returns to the original size.
The whole day was really interesting!

P.S. We watched a TED talk about leadership and starting movements. I found the video really intriguing and if you want to watch it it was called ‘How to start a movement’ by Derek Sivers
