נחל עוג

Today, I went on a tiyul with my grade to נחל עוג. (If you don’t know what a tiyul is, it is a trip.)

We left school around 8:20 and drove for about an hour. When we arrived, we davened to ourselves surrounded by a stunning landscape. After davening, we had time to eat a snack before doing some quick ‘bonding activities’. Then, we started the hike.

The hike was beautiful! We were hiking in between mountains with huge rock surfaces. We hiked for about 3 hours! We stopped often for girls to catch up so the hike could’ve been quicker, but it was fine. For almost the entire hike, I was in the very front with 3 other girls. During the hike, there were maybe 4 places where we climbed medal rungs. The metal rungs were like a ladder built into rock. It wasn’t as hard as I thought, and it was actually really fun.

I had lots of fun today and am so glad I was outside in gorgeous nature insyead of being stuck at school. I can’t wait for the next tiyul with school!

It was really fun! Plus, we got to miss school.
