On Friday, June 5th, we went to Nachalat Binyamin. This was one of the many things we did during our weekend in Tel Aviv.
Nachalat Binyamin is an arts and crafts fair near the Shuk HaCarmel. There is all kinds of crafts at this fair including jewelry, ceramics, clocks, personalized signs, and puppets. It is a really fun place to walk around, and of course, you will end up buying a lot, and spending more than you wish to spend.
We spent a couple hours there, most of which was Alexandra and I waiting for Ima, who liked to stop at every single place she passed. We bought jewelry, some fun fabric masks, and items made from recycled shoko basakit bags שוקו בסקית (chocolate milk in a bag). The stand where we bought our shoko items had wallets, pencil cases, card holders, and more made out of recycled israeli snack and drink wrappers, not just shoko. That mights sound weird, but it is actually really cool.
If you are ever in Tel Aviv on a Tuesday or Friday (the fair is only happens on those days), make sure to stop by!

A shoko wallet and a shoko cardholder (the stand I bought these at had shoko items from two different brands of shoko, but I only bought items made out of the shoko brand I like, Yotvata יטבתה)

These are books that are folded, cut, or something to make cool shapes, animals, and words
