Yesterday morning we went to the Citadel look out. It was a great view of Budapest. The Citadel is on the Buda side of the river. One side of the river is called Buda and one side is Pest (pronounced Pesht).
Then at night we went on a boat ride on the Danube (the river). This was something I really wanted to do for my birthday and I was glad we did it. All the buildings were lit up and everything looked gorgeous.
After the boat ride we headed to dinner. The restaurant was fancy but sadly the food wasn’t up to par. However, they did have virgin cocktails!
