When we were on our food tour, we learnt about a mountain in the neighborhood that is made out of jug shards.
The jug shards are from a period of four centuries over 1500 years ago.
It didn’t used to be a mountain, but all the pot shards from multiple centuries were out there, so eventually it became a mountain.
The pots were mostly made out of terra-cotta, which is very porous, and used to transport oil so the pots couldn’t be reused and therefore the shards were placed in a spot that turned into a mountain.
