This morning, we (Alexandra, Zohar, and I) got out of bed at around 11 am since we were so tired from getting home so late after selichot.

We decided we would make French toast for breakfast.

Everything was going off to a great start, that was until we tasted the French toast. It was gross. We decided that we would make a carmel-like sauce to put on top of the French toast in attempt to make it taste better. The carmel-like sauce was made out of margarine and brown sugar but they separated after we put it on our food, so our French toast just tasted like butter, sugar, and bread.

It did not taste good, but we ate it anyways.

It might have worked better if we used real butter and not margarine, but that is not possible since Israel has a butter problem.

The israeli butter problem: The government sets the price for butter, and the main dairy company gets more money selling butter to foreign countries, so they stopped selling butter in Israel.

P.S. French toast would be improved by adding chocolate
