In addition to our minimum one gelato a day rule (no matter the weather – it is December after all), we enjoyed a delicious vegetarian feast last night at Rome’s oldest vegetarian restaurant, Il Marghutta, which is 40 years old, and had a way to make our food look like art. We even got to try a vegetable we had never heard of, cardo (we were told it’s related to an artichoke). At the risk of many our readers jealous, here are some food photos to enjoy.
