This Monday we went to downtown Jerusalem for the first time.

We went shopping and then met up with one of my counselors from camp (who is studying in Jerusalem for the year) for dinner.

We went to a restaurant called Anna, which is inside of a museum. This restaurant trains at risk youth to become waiters. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We got 5 different first courses to share, and we were very happy. My two favorites were the grilled peach with a mozzarella-like cheese, and the gnocchi salad. Yum!!!

Anna also has themes nights with concerts, such as an all you can eat cheese and bread meal, and a tapa day. It was a super fun restaurant, and if you are ever in downtown Jerusalem I highly recommend going.

P.S. The gnocchi salad would be improved with garlic, but the peach with a creamy cheese would not be improved with either chocolate or garlic.
