Last Thursday we rented a car and went to the Galil (that is by the Kineret). We started off by going to a chocolate workshop at kibbutz Degania Bet. The chocolate workshop was at a chocolate factory called Galita (גליתא).
We spent the whole day with Ariana, Sarah, and a friend from shul.
In the chocolate workshop we decorated a chocolate bar mold with white chocolate and then filled the mold with milk or dark chocolate (depending on which we preferred). We also covered the back of the chocolate bar with toppings such as nuts, sprinkles, and other sweet things.
After we each made a chocolate bar, we filled truffle molds. We each made eight truffles. The truffles had white, milk, and dark chocolate. We also put some chocolate liquor in some of our truffles.
The whole time during the workshop we were snacking on chocolate and lots of other sugary things. It turns out that I really like chocolate liquor. ;)
After the workshop, since we obviously had not had enough sugar, we got milkshakes. They were delicious!!!
We had so much fun doing the chocolate workshop, although we felt a little sick afterwards from too much sugar.
