On Sunday, we went to a beach on the Kinneret. It was not a free beach (we had to pay to enter), but it was super nice and we were the only ones there.
It was a gorgeous setting and there was a great grassy area with palm trees to sit on.
The actual beach was not very big, and it was smaller then normal because there was so much rain this year in Israel that the Kinneret rose 2 meters (6 feet) and big parts of beaches are now underwater.
It was really nice to sit by the beach, and go in the water, and the cherry on top was that the weather was perfect.
If you want a relaxing activity in Israel, I recommend going to the kinneret.
I’m so glad Israel is opening up enough that we can be at beaches!!!
One if the nice things about driving around Israel is that you come across beautiful sights like the coast, desert, fields with lots of flowers, trees, sometimes animals, and various other things.
