Yesterday was the last day of the first semester for Alexandra and I. Because of that, we had special activities at school and we got out early.
After school, we met Ima and went to see the Chagall windows at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
The windows were pretty, but kind of disappointing.
There were 12 windows, one for each of Jacob’s sons. Each window was a different color and had different designs representing what blessing each son had received from Jacob at the end of the book of Genesis (would their offspring be the kings of Israel, would they be sailors, would they be in war…).
